Ccl21a, also known by the synonyms 6Ckine, Beta-chemokine exodus-2, Small-inducible cytokine A21a, Thymus-derived chemotactic agent 4 (TCA4), Scya21 and Scya21a, is a secreted chemokine that binds to CCR7 and to CXCR3. It inhibits hemopoiesis and stimulates chemotaxis, acting chemotactically in vitro on thymocytes and activated T-cells but not on B-cells, macrophages, or neutrophils, and shows preferential activity toward naive T-cells, supporting studies of immune regulation, lymphocyte homing, and inflammatory disease in mouse models.

Reported linearity for serum (Spanning dilutions 1:2 to 1:16) is 98-125%, for EDTA plasma 83-113%, and for heparin plasma 90-114%. Average recovery is 99% (range 93-105%) for serum and 101% (range 95-107%) for plasma.
