Mouse C-C motif chemokine 20 (Ccl20) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantification of mouse C-C motif chemokine 20 (CCL20) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CCL20, also known as macrophage inflammatory protein-3 alpha (MIP-3A), is a key chemokine involved in immune response and inflammatory processes, recruiting immune cells to sites of infection or injury and modulating immune cell function. The kit is suited to research applications in inflammation, autoimmune disease, and infection.

The assay provides a detection range of 3.9-250pg/mL and a sensitivity of 1.97pg/mL. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 95% (range 89-101%) and plasma recovery averaging 97% (range 91-103%).

The kit specifically recognises natural and recombinant mouse CCL20 and is positioned within the immunology research area. The target functions as a ligand for C-C chemokine receptor CCR6, with the CCL20-CCR6 pair responsible for chemotaxis of dendritic cells, effector/memory T-cells and B-cells at skin and mucosal surfaces under homeostatic and inflammatory conditions, as well as in cancer and autoimmune disease pathology.
