The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse BAI3.

The assay demonstrates a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.161ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Reported recovery averages 108% in serum (range 102-114%) and 110% in plasma (range 104-116%).

BAI3, also known as adhesion G protein-coupled receptor B3 (gene symbol Adgrb3; UniProt Q80ZF8), may regulate the number of excitatory synapses formed on hippocampus neurons and has been implicated in angiogenesis inhibition and suppression of glioblastoma. For research use only.
