Mouse Bone sialoprotein 2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit employs a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection and is intended for the quantification of Bone sialoprotein 2 (BSP2) in mouse samples. It is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples, with reactivity established for mouse. Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with all components stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

BSP2 is implicated in bone formation and remodeling, making it a relevant biomarker for studies of skeletal development, osteoporosis and other bone-related disorders. Linearity in serum (88–95%, 89–97% and 80–92% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (92–105%, 86–101% and 80–99%) and heparin plasma (88–95%, 82–96% and 82–100%) is reported. Recovery testing returned average values of 93% in serum (range 87–105%), 97% in EDTA plasma (range 89–104%) and 92% in heparin plasma (range 85–99%).
