Mouse Bone morphogenetic protein 4 (Bmp4) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed to quantify mouse Bone morphogenetic protein 4 (BMP4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and supports studies of BMP4 function in bone development, embryonic development, tissue repair and related disease mechanisms.

The assay has a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.88pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and inter-assay CV of 9.0%. It recognises natural and recombinant mouse BMP4. The target is annotated to UniProt P21275 and is localised to the extracellular space and extracellular matrix, with cancer listed as the highlighted research area.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 82-105% in serum (N=5), 87-119% in EDTA plasma (N=5) and 84-117% in heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery averaged 81% (range 80-87%) in serum and 83% (range 80-89%) in plasma.
