Mouse Bone morphogenetic protein 2 (Bmp2) ELISA Kit

BMP2 is a key regulator of bone formation and regeneration and is involved in skeletal development, bone healing, cell differentiation, and tissue repair. The protein is a secreted disulfide-linked homodimer belonging to the TGF-beta family. It induces cartilage and bone formation and stimulates differentiation of myoblasts into osteoblasts via the EIF2AK3-EIF2A-ATF4 pathway, making it a valuable biomarker for studies in bone development, tissue repair, and cancer research.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 31.25 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.1%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging 104% (range 98-110%) in serum and 106% (range 100-112%) in plasma.
