Mouse BMP4 ELISA Kit

A solid-phase sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of Bone Morphogenetic Protein 4 (BMP4) in mouse-derived samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses a colorimetric readout and is reactive with mouse, accepting serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL with an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity has been tested in serum (80-105%), EDTA plasma (86-101%) and heparin plasma (82-102%) across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. Recovery is reported as 88-102% (average 95%) for serum, 85-105% (average 92%) for EDTA plasma and 85-97% (average 91%) for heparin plasma. Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The procedure follows a six-step workflow: reagent and plate equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Sample preparation guidance is given for serum (clot, 1000 × g, 20 minutes), plasma (anticoagulant tube, 1000 × g, 15 minutes, 2-8°C), tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm, 5 minutes) and cell lysate.
