Mouse Bile salt export pump (Abcb11) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse bile salt export pump (Abcb11) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects both natural and recombinant mouse bile salt export pump with high sensitivity and specificity, and uses colorimetric detection.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.089 ng/mL. Reported precision is 7.5% intra-assay CV and 9.9% inter-assay CV. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5), with recovery averaging 104% (range 98–110%) in serum and 106% (range 100–112%) in plasma.

Abcb11, also known as ATP-binding cassette sub-family B member 11, Sister of P-glycoprotein, Bsep or Spgp (Uniprot Q9QY30), is a multi-pass membrane protein involved in the ATP-dependent secretion of bile salts into the canaliculus of hepatocytes.
