Mouse Bid ELISA Kit

A sandwich double-antibody ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of BID (BH3 Interacting Domain Death Agonist) in mouse samples. The kit targets BID, a protein involved in apoptosis and cell death pathways, whose dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. Detection is colorimetric and the kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity values across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 are 85–100%, 85–98%, and 81–99% for serum; 91–104%, 86–95%, and 80–95% for EDTA plasma; and 89–104%, 83–96%, and 81–89% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 93–102% for serum, 93–102% for EDTA plasma, and 85–101% for heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 99%, 96%, and 92% respectively. The protocol involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development, and reading absorbance at 450 nm. Reagents are stable at 2–8°C for 12 months.
