Mouse Beta-secretase 2 (Bace2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit for the accurate measurement of Beta-secretase 2 (BACE2) levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Beta-secretase 2 and is intended for research use only in neuroscience applications.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.174ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 5.6% and inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity is documented for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with recovery averaging 100% (range 94-106) for serum and 102% (range 96-108) for plasma.

BACE2 is a membrane-associated aspartic protease responsible for the proteolytic processing of amyloid precursor protein (APP), cleaving APP between residues 690 and 691, and also between residues 671 and 672. Recommended storage is -20°C, with shipping at +4°C.
