Mouse Beta-endorphin (BEP) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this immunoassay enables the quantitative measurement of beta-endorphin in mouse samples. The kit supports research into a key peptide involved in pain modulation, stress response and mood regulation, conditions where dysregulation has been associated with chronic pain, addiction and mood disorders. By providing accurate and consistent measurement of beta-endorphin levels in serum, plasma, tissue lysate and other biological fluids, the assay is suited to studies across neuroscience and pharmacology.

Configured as a competitive ELISA with colorimetric detection, the kit delivers a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 8.12 pg/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Reported linearity for serum spans 104–116%, 101–110%, 102–114% and 113–123% at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 respectively; EDTA plasma linearity is 81–93%, 102–111%, 90–102% and 86–97%, and heparin plasma linearity is 103–113%, 92–101%, 98–109% and 92–92%. Sample recovery averages 86% for serum (range 80–92%) and 88% for plasma (range 82–94%). Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant mouse beta-endorphin, and the kit is intended for research use only.
