Mouse Beta-defensin 14/Defb14 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay for the accurate quantification of mouse Beta-defensin 14 (Defb14) levels. The kit is reactive with mouse and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

It provides a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL, using a colorimetric detection method with absorbance measured at 450 nm. The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity for serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) spans 87-104%, 83-101%, and 88-99% for serum; 85-96%, 83-100%, and 88-95% for EDTA plasma; and 88-98%, 92-101%, and 87-98% for heparin plasma. Average recoveries are 91% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma. The protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin (SABC) with TMB substrate, including primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes.
