Mouse Beta Crosslaps/beta-CTx ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit is designed for the precise measurement of beta-crosslaps (Beta-CTx) levels in mouse samples, with reactivity specific to mouse. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a competitive format with the plate coated with antigen.

Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL, with a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for research into bone resorption, bone metabolism and related conditions such as osteoporosis. Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C (sealed) and should not be cryopreserved.

Linearity was validated in mouse serum (86-105% at 1:2, 82-99% at 1:4, 83-100% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (85-101%, 91-101%, 80-97%) and heparin plasma (86-102%, 85-101%, 82-90%). Spike-and-recovery: serum 96-103% (average 100%), EDTA plasma 86-105% (average 92%), heparin plasma 86-104% (average 97%). The protocol uses a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-streptavidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
