Mouse Beta-2-microglobulin (B2m) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate and precise measurement of mouse beta-2 microglobulin (B2m) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Beta-2 microglobulin is a key component of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules and plays a role in immune response and tumor surveillance. Elevated levels of this protein have been associated with various disease conditions, including kidney disease, multiple myeloma, and certain autoimmune disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research in these areas.

The kit provides a detection range of 0.78-50ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.41ng/mL. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery ranging from 80-91% for serum and 81-93% for plasma.

The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse beta-2-microglobulin and is intended for research use only, with applications that include cancer research.
