Anti-apoptotic BCL-W, encoded by BCL2L2, regulates mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization and influences tumor cell survival, neuronal viability, and immune cell persistence. Quantifying BCL-W protein levels in mouse samples therefore supports apoptosis research, oncology studies, and investigations into chemotherapy resistance.
