From Assay Genie, this Mouse BAFF/BlyS ELISA Kit is a Sandwich ELISA using a double antibody format, designed for the quantitative measurement of B-Cell Activating Factor (BAFF/BlyS) in mouse samples. The assay is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with detection carried out colorimetrically.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a measuring range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. Reported linearity values across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions are: serum (n=5) 87-104%, 90-103%, 91-102%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 83-98%, 85-100%, 82-99%; heparin plasma (n=5) 81-99%, 82-90%, 85-97%. Reported spike-and-recovery ranges are: serum (n=5) 85-100% with an average of 92%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 88-105% with an average of 99%; heparin plasma (n=5) 85-105% with an average of 96%. Detection is read at absorbance 450 nm after addition of TMB substrate and stop solution, and kit components are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.
