Mouse Baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 2 (Birc2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric detection method to quantitatively measure mouse Baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 2 (BIRC2), also referred to as cellular inhibitor of apoptosis 1, inhibitor of apoptosis protein 2, RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase BIRC2, C-IAP1, and mIAP2. The assay is validated for use with mouse-derived samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and is supplied in a solid phase format.

Manufacturer-reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.086ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is given as 8.3% and inter-assay CV as 10.1%. Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 (N=5) was reported for serum (97-107%, 80-88%, 93-102%, 97-107%), EDTA plasma (84-84%, 106-116%, 109-119%, 95-107%), and heparin plasma (109-119%, 91-100%, 108-118%, 100-109%). Spike-and-recovery values are provided as 95% average (range 89-101) for serum and 97% average (range 91-103) for plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse BIRC2.
