Mouse B-Lymphocyte Chemoattractant/BLC ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of B-Lymphocyte Chemoattractant (BLC), also known as CXCL13, in mouse samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Quoted performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity in serum (n=5) spans 86–97% at 1:2, 82–96% at 1:4 and 80–88% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) spans 98–102%, 88–100% and 80–99% across the same dilutions; and heparin plasma (n=5) spans 93–103%, 84–97% and 80–100%. Recovery averages are 90% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma, with ranges of 85–104%, 86–102% and 88–103% respectively. Unopened components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

BLC/CXCL13 is a chemokine implicated in the recruitment of B lymphocytes and is a relevant target in research into immune responses, inflammation, autoimmune disease, infectious disease and cancer.
