Mouse B-Lymphocyte Chemoattractant 1 (BLC1) ELISA Kit

Mouse B-Lymphocyte Chemoattractant 1 (BLC1), also called CXCL13, is a CXC-family homeostatic chemokine that recruits B lymphocytes into lymphoid follicles through CXCR5 receptor signalling. The Assay Genie two-antibody immunoassay uses anti-mouse CXCL13 capture and detection antibodies calibrated against recombinant mouse BLC1 to quantify the chemokine in serum, in plasma-derived samples, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatant fluids.

Reagents should be refrigerated between uses and protected from light; freeze-thaw cycles should be minimised. The kit is intended for research use only.

Typical research applications include profiling germinal-centre B-cell responses, characterising B-cell recruitment in autoimmune models such as EAE and lupus, studying lymphoid neogenesis in chronic inflammation, and quantifying BLC1 induction by TNF-family cytokines or TLR ligands.
