Mouse B-cell receptor-associated protein 31 (Bcap31) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse B-cell receptor-associated protein 31 (Bcap31). It shows reactivity with mouse samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects both natural and recombinant mouse Bcap31, with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL.

BCAP31 functions as a chaperone protein in the endoplasmic reticulum, where it plays a role in the export of secreted proteins, recognition of abnormally folded proteins and their targeting to ER-associated degradation, and serves as a cargo receptor for transmembrane proteins. It may also be involved in CASP8-mediated apoptosis. The protein localises to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and the ER-Golgi intermediate compartment membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein.
