Mouse Autoimmune regulator (Aire) ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of mouse Autoimmune regulator (Aire) levels, this sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie supports research applications in immunology and autoimmunity. AIRE is described as a key regulator of immune tolerance, and abnormalities in its expression have been associated with autoimmune diseases such as type 1 diabetes and autoimmune polyendocrine syndrome.

The assay is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. It detects both natural and recombinant mouse Autoimmune regulator, also known as Autoimmune polyendocrinopathy candidiasis ectodermal dystrophy protein homolog or APECED protein homolog, with a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.319ng/mL. Functionally, AIRE is a transcription factor that promotes self-tolerance in the thymus by regulating the expression of tissue-restricted antigens.

Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum ranging from 100-110% to 83-93%, EDTA plasma from 103-112% to 106-114%, and heparin plasma from 98-108% to 110-122%. Recovery is reported at 80% for both serum and plasma. The kit is for research use only.
