Mouse ATP-citrate synthase (Acly) ELISA Kit

ACLY, also known as ATP-citrate (pro-S-)-lyase or citrate cleavage enzyme, is the primary enzyme responsible for cytosolic acetyl-CoA synthesis and has a central role in de novo lipid synthesis; in nervous tissue it may be involved in the biosynthesis of acetylcholine.

The assay is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant mouse ATP-citrate synthase. The detection range is 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.174ng/mL; intra-assay CV is 3.6% and inter-assay CV is 7.7%. Serum recovery averages 89% (range 83-95%) and plasma recovery averages 91% (range 85-97%).
