Abcb9, also known by the synonyms ATP-binding cassette transporter 9, TAP-like protein, ABC transporter 9 protein, TAPL, and Kiaa1520 (UniProt Q9JJ59), is an ATP-dependent low-affinity peptide transporter that translocates a broad spectrum of peptides from the cytosol to the lysosomal lumen. The protein is a multi-pass component of the lysosome membrane and functions as a homodimer.
