Mouse Aspartyl/asparaginyl beta-hydroxylase (Asph) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Mouse Aspartyl/asparaginyl beta-hydroxylase (Asph) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format immunoassay developed for the quantitative measurement of ASPH in mouse-derived samples. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse Aspartyl/asparaginyl beta-hydroxylase and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 8.5% and inter-assay CV is 10.0%. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum linearity ranges of 103-114%, 83-96%, 87-97%, and 97-107% across those dilutions; EDTA plasma 94-104%, 105-116%, 101-110%, and 93-102%; and heparin plasma 99-108%, 105-115%, 100-110%, and 86-99%. Recovery in serum averaged 89% (range 83-95%) and in plasma averaged 91% (range 85-97%). The assay uses colorimetric detection.

Aspartyl/asparaginyl beta-hydroxylase (also known as Aspartate beta-hydroxylase, Peptide-aspartate beta-dioxygenase, ASP beta-hydroxylase, and BAH; UniProt Q8BSY0) specifically hydroxylates an Asp or Asn residue within certain epidermal growth factor-like (EGF) domains of a number of proteins. The protein is featured in cardiovascular research, and the kit is intended for research use only.
