Mouse Asialoglycoprotein receptor 1 (Asgr1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse Asialoglycoprotein Receptor 1 (ASGR1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with colourimetric detection read at 450 nm. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse ASGR1 and is intended for research use only, supporting studies in immunology and liver-related research.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.081 ng/mL. ASGR1 (synonyms: Hepatic lectin 1, HL-1, ASGP-R 1, Asgr-1; UniProt P34927) is a single-pass type II membrane protein of 27.8 kDa that mediates endocytosis of plasma glycoproteins by recognising terminal galactose and N-acetylgalactosamine units, internalising the ligand complex and recycling to the cell surface.

Dysregulation of ASGR1 has been linked to liver diseases and metabolic disorders, making it a relevant biomarker for investigating hepatic function and associated disease models.
