Description

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA is designed for accurate quantification of Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor (AHR) in mouse samples. The aryl hydrocarbon receptor is a transcription factor involved in regulating immune response, cell growth, and development, and its dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune disorders, cancer, and metabolic disorders, making reliable measurement valuable for studying disease mechanisms and therapeutic strategies.

The assay provides a sensitivity of 0.234 ng/mL with a measuring range of 0.391–25 ng/mL. It accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 90–100%, 92–102%, and 86–103% for serum; 86–97%, 83–97%, and 86–99% for EDTA plasma; and 80–94%, 81–100%, and 86–93% for heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 94% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma, and 94% in heparin plasma.

The protocol includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, followed by 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, 30-minute HRP-streptavidin incubation, 10–20 minutes of TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution is added. The target corresponds to UniProt entry P30561, with documented synonyms including BHLHE76, Ah receptor, AH-receptor, aromatic hydrocarbon receptor, and Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 76, within the Cell Biology research area.
