Mouse ARG1 (Arginase-1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies this Sandwich ELISA, configured as a double-antibody assay and read colorimetrically at 450 nm, for the quantitative measurement of arginase 1 in mouse samples. Validated specimen types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity restricted to mouse.

Arginase 1 is an enzyme that operates in the urea cycle and contributes to the regulation of nitric oxide production; it is also involved in modulating immune responses, supporting tissue repair, and influencing various disease states. The kit is therefore positioned for research into immune function, inflammation, and metabolic disorders. Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL (2000 pg = 100 mIU). Recovery across five replicates averages 92% in serum, 92% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma, while linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions lies between 80% and 105%. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, and synonyms recognised by the assay include Arg1, Liver Arginase, Liver-type arginase, and Type I arginase.

The workflow follows six steps: reagent and plate preparation; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes; HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes; TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and stop reaction followed by immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm.
