Mouse Apolipoprotein M (Apom) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Apolipoprotein M (APO-M) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and shows reactivity specifically with mouse samples, recognising both natural and recombinant mouse Apolipoprotein M. Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL, enabling accurate and reproducible measurement of apolipoprotein M levels in mouse-derived samples. The target protein, also known by the synonyms Apo-M and Ng20, is a secreted protein (UniProt Q9Z1R3) with a molecular weight of 21,273 Da that is probably involved in lipid transport, with the capacity to bind sphingosine-1-phosphate, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, retinol, and both all-trans- and 9-cis-retinoic acid. The kit is therefore suited to studies of lipid metabolism, cardiovascular disease, and liver function.
