Mouse Apolipoprotein E (Apoe) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Apolipoprotein E (APOE) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Apolipoprotein E (Apo-E). The target analyte is a secreted protein central to lipid metabolism, mediating the binding, internalization, and catabolism of lipoprotein particles and acting as a ligand for the LDL (apo B/E) receptor and the specific apo-E receptor of hepatic tissues, supporting cardiovascular research applications.

Reported analytical characteristics include a sensitivity of 3.96 ng/mL and a detection range of 7.8-500 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.6% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.4% CV. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum ranging from 92-118%, EDTA plasma from 86-118%, and heparin plasma from 80-122% across the dilution series.
