Mouse Apolipoprotein A-V (Apoa5) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Apolipoprotein A-V (APOA5) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and is relevant to the cardiovascular research area, where APOA5 is recognised as a key protein in lipid metabolism and an important determinant of plasma triglyceride levels.

Validated for mouse samples, the assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Apolipoprotein A-V with a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. According to the manufacturer, APOA5 is a minor apolipoprotein mainly associated with HDL and to a lesser extent with VLDL, and the protein interacts with GPIHBP1. It is a secreted protein.
