Mouse Apolipoprotein A-I-binding protein (Apoa1bp) ELISA Kit

APOA1BP, also known as NAD(P)H-hydrate epimerase (EC 5.1.99.6), is a mitochondrial enzyme of the nnrE/AIBP family. It catalyses the epimerisation of the S- and R-forms of NAD(P)HX, a hydration-damaged form of NAD(P)H, providing a prerequisite step for repair by the S-specific NAD(P)H-hydrate dehydratase. In lipid biology, APOA1BP participates in cholesterol homeostasis and HDL formation, and its dysregulation has been associated with atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. The mouse protein is recorded under UniProt Q8K4Z3 (NCBI Gene ID 246703) with a reported molecular weight of 30,973 Da.
