Mouse ApoB100/Apoliprotein B100 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse apolipoprotein B-100 (ApoB100) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. ApoB100 is a key protein involved in lipid metabolism and is essential for the assembly of lipoproteins, including LDL cholesterol, with dysregulation linked to metabolic disorders such as atherosclerosis and hyperlipidemia. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format and is intended for research into lipid metabolism and related disease mechanisms.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a sensitivity of 46.875 ng/mL and a working range of 78.125–5000 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) was 88–100% at 1:2, 87–104% at 1:4 and 88–104% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma (n=5) 82–99%, 86–100% and 84–99%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80–91%, 82–100% and 80–100%. Recovery ranged from 91–98% (average 95%) in serum, 93–104% (average 99%) in EDTA plasma and 85–102% (average 91%) in heparin plasma. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
