Mouse AP-1 complex subunit mu-1 (Ap1m1) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse AP-1 complex subunit mu-1 (Ap1m1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay shows reactivity for mouse samples, with specificity reported for natural and recombinant mouse AP-1 complex subunit mu-1.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.432 ng/mL. An intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3% are noted. Linearity has been evaluated in serum (110–119%, 107–116%, 101–113% and 95–104% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions respectively, N=5), EDTA plasma (113–122%, 109–118%, 96–106% and 87–96%) and heparin plasma (100–109%, 97–108%, 95–105% and 108–118%). Spike-and-recovery values are reported as 94% (range 88–100%) for serum and 96% (range 90–102%) for plasma.

AP1M1 is described as a subunit of the clathrin-associated adaptor protein complex 1 that plays a role in protein sorting in the trans-Golgi network and endosomes, with reported localisation at the Golgi apparatus and at clathrin-coated vesicle membranes.
