Mouse anti-Thrombin 3 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of thrombin-3 levels in mouse samples. The assay uses a Sandwich ELISA format with double antigen detection and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a measurable range of 3.125-200 ng/mL. Reagent storage is at 2-8°C (sealed); the kit should not be cryopreserved. The kit is also referenced under the synonym AT-3.

Thrombin-3 is a protein involved in the blood coagulation process and plays a role in maintaining hemostasis. Its dysregulation has been linked to thrombotic disorders, making it a useful biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential treatment options.

Validated performance characteristics include linearity across dilutions: serum 90-98% (1:2), 88-100% (1:4), 85-100% (1:8); EDTA plasma 84-99%, 83-99%, 82-96%; heparin plasma 83-93%, 80-93%, 86-100% (n=5 for each). Recovery ranges were 91-104% (average 99%) for serum, 90-104% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 95-105% (average 99%) for heparin plasma. The procedure includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled antigen binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
