The Mouse Anti-2019-nCoV (S) IgA ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a species-specific immunoassay developed for the quantitative detection of IgA antibodies directed against the SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) glycoprotein in murine specimens. Because IgA is the dominant antibody isotype at mucosal surfaces, the assay is particularly valuable for evaluating mucosal immunity in mouse COVID-19 vaccine and infection models, supporting preclinical immunogenicity and pathogenesis studies. The capture reagent is calibrated to detect the mouse IgA isotype with minimal cross-reactivity to murine IgG or IgM.
