Annexin A5 is involved in membrane binding, apoptosis, inflammation regulation, blood coagulation, and cell migration, and its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying those conditions and potential therapeutic interventions. Reported linearity ranges from 82% to 105% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma dilutions, and recovery ranges from 85% to 104% for serum, 91% to 101% for EDTA plasma, and 86% to 99% for heparin plasma.
