Mouse Anionic trypsin-2 (Prss2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Anionic trypsin-2 (PRSS2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. PRSS2 is a serine protease involved in protein digestion, and its dysregulation has been linked to pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases in mouse models.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Reproducibility is supported by an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Good linearity is reported across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma dilution series, with average recovery of 85% for serum and 87% for plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Anionic trypsin-2 and is for research use only.

Detection is by ELISA with absorbance readout, and the assay is reactive with mouse samples. The analyte corresponds to Uniprot entry P07146, with the mouse gene designated Prss2.
