Mouse Angiopoietin-4 (Angpt4) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Angiopoietin-4 (Angpt4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Angiopoietin-4, with a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.326 ng/mL.

Angiopoietin-4 is a key regulator of angiogenesis, contributing to blood vessel formation and cell migration. According to UniProt annotation (Q9WVH6), the protein binds to TEK/TIE2, modulating ANGPT1 signaling, and can induce tyrosine phosphorylation of TEK/TIE2, thereby promoting endothelial cell survival, migration and angiogenesis. Dysregulation of Angiopoietin-4 has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders and inflammatory conditions, making this kit a useful tool for studies of disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic interventions in mouse models.
