Mouse Amy2/Pancreatic alpha-amylase ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of mouse pancreatic alpha-amylase (Amy2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. It is intended for metabolism research, including studies of pancreatic function, diabetes, pancreatitis, and related pancreatic disorders. The assay uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection via TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Key performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.938 mIU/mL and a detection range of 1.563-100 mIU/mL. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with serum values of 85-99%, 88-101% and 92-104%; EDTA plasma values of 90-99%, 87-99% and 90-101%; and heparin plasma values of 88-100%, 88-100% and 88-98%. Recovery ranges were 86-105% (average 97%) for serum, 90-105% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-104% (average 96%) for heparin plasma.
