Mouse AMT/Aminomethyltransferase ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of mouse aminomethyltransferase (AMT) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, with absorbance read colorimetrically at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for use with mouse samples only.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 85–102% / 82–100% / 82–96% for serum, 89–103% / 84–98% / 85–100% for EDTA plasma and 86–104% / 82–96% / 81–98% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery ranges are 89–98% (serum), 89–104% (EDTA plasma) and 86–98% (heparin plasma), with mean recoveries of 93%, 97% and 92% respectively. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

AMT is a mitochondrial enzyme (Uniprot Q8CFA2) of the glycine cleavage system that participates in one-carbon metabolism, amino acid biosynthesis and nucleotide biosynthesis. Its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, metabolic disorders and neurological conditions, and the kit is listed for use in cardiovascular, cell biology and cell signalling research.
