Mouse Amphiregulin (Areg) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Amphiregulin (AREG), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.82 pg/mL. The assay is validated for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for both natural and recombinant mouse Amphiregulin.

Reported performance characteristics include an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum (89–126%), EDTA plasma (87–115%) and heparin plasma (95–119%). Recovery ranges from 90–102% in serum and 92–104% in plasma. Amphiregulin functions as a ligand of the EGF receptor/EGFR and acts as an autocrine growth factor and mitogen for a broad range of target cells including astrocytes, Schwann cells, and fibroblasts.
