Mouse Aminopeptidase O/ONPEP ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of aminopeptidase O (ONPEP) in mouse samples, using a colorimetric detection method with a double antibody format. The kit is intended as a research tool for the accurate detection of aminopeptidase O in a range of biological matrices, supporting studies in protein metabolism and related disease biology.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. The kit has been validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The workflow uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin binding and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Recovery has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 94%, 95% and 97% respectively.

Aminopeptidase O is described as an enzyme involved in the breakdown of peptides and proteins, with dysregulation linked in the literature to inflammatory conditions, autoimmune disorders and metabolic diseases, making it a useful biomarker for research.
