Mouse Amine oxidase [flavin-containing] A (Maoa) ELISA Kit

The colorimetric assay is intended for research use only and is reactive with mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

MAOA is an enzyme localized to the mitochondrial outer membrane that catalyzes the oxidative deamination of biogenic and xenobiotic amines, with a preference for neurotransmitters such as 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), norepinephrine, and epinephrine. The kit recognizes both natural and recombinant mouse Amine oxidase [flavin-containing] A and is intended for neuroscience research. Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.09ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.3%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity is provided across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery averages 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma.
