Mouse Amiloride-sensitive amine oxidase [copper-containing] (Abp1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate quantification of mouse Amiloride-sensitive amine oxidase [copper-containing] (Abp1). The assay is reactive with mouse samples and has been applied to serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Abp1.

The target protein is a disulfide-linked homodimer found in the secreted extracellular space (UniProt Q8JZQ5) that catalyzes the degradation of putrescine, histamine, spermine, and spermidine — compounds involved in allergic and immune responses, cell proliferation, tissue differentiation, tumor formation, and possibly apoptosis. Also referred to as Amiloride-binding protein, Histaminase, ABP, DAO, and Diamine oxidase, the enzyme is relevant to Signal Transduction research.

Detection follows a colorimetric sandwich ELISA workflow, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The assay covers a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.78ng/mL. For research use only.
