Mouse ALT1/Alanine aminotransferase 1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for the quantitative measurement of mouse ALT1 (Alanine aminotransferase 1). Detection is colorimetric, with a stated sensitivity of 0.938 mIU/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 mIU/mL (20 ng = 100 mIU). Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay is designed for research into ALT1's role in amino acid metabolism and the breakdown of alanine, where abnormal levels are associated with liver damage or dysfunction, drug toxicity and metabolic disorders.

Reported recovery for serum averages 96% (range 90–100%), EDTA plasma 95% (88–104%) and heparin plasma 96% (89–103%). Linearity data are likewise provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. The protocol uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.
