Mouse alpha GST/alpha-glutathione S-transferases ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) kit from Assay Genie designed for the accurate quantification of alpha-glutathione S-transferases (alpha GST) in mouse samples. Alpha GSTs are enzymes involved in the detoxification of harmful substances and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis, and are described as biomarkers of interest in studies of inflammation, liver disease, and carcinogenesis.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 0.375 mIU/mL and a working range of 0.625–40 mIU/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for 12 months. Absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB color development, with the workflow following reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, and HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes before colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes.

Reported recovery values for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma fall within 85–105%, and linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions for these matrices is reported between 82% and 104%. The target is referenced under the synonym alpha-GST.
