Mouse Alpha-galactosidase A (Gla) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA with colorimetric detection from Assay Genie, intended for the quantitative detection of mouse alpha-galactosidase A (GLA) in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The kit detects both natural and recombinant mouse alpha-galactosidase A and is suited to research in biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics, including the study of conditions such as Fabry disease, in which deficiency of this lysosomal enzyme is implicated.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.086ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.9%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Average recovery is 87% (range 81-93%) in serum and 89% (range 83-95%) in plasma. The target protein is encoded by the Gla gene, is annotated under UniProt accession P51569, functions as a homodimer, and localises to the lysosome, where it participates in glycosphingolipid catabolism.
