Mouse Alpha-enolase (Eno1) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative detection of mouse Alpha-enolase (Eno1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Specificity is reported against both natural and recombinant mouse Alpha-enolase, which is also known by the synonyms 2-phospho-D-glycerate hydro-lyase, Enolase 1, Non-neural enolase (NNE), and Eno-1.

Quantitative performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at a CV of 4.6%, and inter-assay precision at 7.4%. Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery averages 89% in serum (range 83–95%) and 91% in plasma (range 85–97%). Absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Alpha-enolase is described as a multifunctional enzyme participating in glycolysis, growth control, hypoxia tolerance, and allergic responses, and may function as a receptor and activator of plasminogen on cell surfaces.
