Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Alpha-crystallin B chain (CRYAB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CRYAB, also known as Alpha B-crystallin, is a small heat shock protein that acts as a molecular chaperone, preventing aggregation of various proteins under a wide range of stress conditions. Dysregulation of CRYAB has been linked to cardiovascular disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer, making it a focus of biomarker and therapeutic research.

The kit is specific to natural and recombinant mouse Alpha-crystallin B chain and reports a detection range of 0.156-10ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.5% and inter-assay CV is 10.0%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (87-116%), EDTA plasma (92-114%) and heparin plasma (90-119%) at dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averages 104% (range 98-110%) in serum and 106% (range 100-112%) in plasma.
