Mouse Alpha-amylase 1 (Amy1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse Alpha-amylase 1 (Amy1) ELISA Kit is a sandwich immunoassay developed for the quantification of mouse alpha-amylase 1 levels in biological samples. The assay is reactive with mouse samples, detects natural and recombinant mouse Alpha-amylase 1, and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 39.26pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.4%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.0%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions ranges from 104-113% to 103-103% in serum, 89-99% to 95-103% in EDTA plasma, and 97-107% to 106-116% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 103% (range 97-109%) in serum and 105% (range 99-111%) in plasma. Alpha-amylase 1 is a 57.1kDa secreted monomer (UniProt P00687; NCBI Gene ID 11722; symbol Amy1) belonging to the glycosyl hydrolase 13 family. Elevated levels of the enzyme have been linked to conditions such as diabetes, pancreatic disorders, and digestive issues.

Supplied components include a dismountable 8×12-strip ELISA microplate, two vials of lyophilized standard, 20mL of sample diluent, 10mL each of assay diluents A and B, 120µL each of detection reagents A and B, 30mL of wash buffer, 10mL of substrate, 10mL of stop solution, and a plate sealer. Most components are stored at -20°C, with wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution stored at 4°C. A microplate reader capable of reading at 450nm is required. For research use only.
